Thornridge Boer Goats

Thornridge purchased our first Boer female in the fall of 2005.Since then we have been building a tremendous herd of females from the best breeding programs throughout the country. We experienced tremendous success in our first year of exhibition. At the 2006 Illinois State Fair, we exhibited the Grand Champion Percentage Doe in the junior show as well as the Reserve Lightweight Wether in the junior show and Reserve Grand Champion Wether in the open show. In addition, we won Grand Champion Wether at the 2007 and 2009 Illinois State Fairs.

Our females are selected to produce champion show wethers and percentage females that will compete at the national level. We are dedicated to becoming the source for show wethers in the Midwest.

Thornridge was instrumental in the creation and is a major sponsor of the Illinois Wether Series. Mike and Drew are committed to providing assistance to junior exhibitors with their goat projects and shaping them into future advocates for agriculture.
